Today is my birthday and it is a much different one ! For the first time on my birthday I am more appreciative of the small things- and not making a big deal of it. I was able to spend some time with some great friends that I don't see enough, with some people that I love. Even the ones that were too far to be part of the celebration made an effort to let me know that they would always be there in thoughts. Like the flowers I received from my best friend in New Jersey- PRICELESS. Seeing my friend after not seeing her since my birthday last year PRICELESS. Taking my friends to dance to House Music - PRICELESS. Having a friend to take care of you after all the drinking - PRICELESS. One year older, one year wiser they say. Somehow some of the things that once mattered don't. The only thing I am really concerned with at this time is TIME and making the most of it. Living like everyday is my last, laughing when I feel like crying and more importantly LOVING and being thankful for all that I have. In 26 years- ups and downs- moments that I thought would never get better. I can now attest that it does get better with every year ! Never regretting any moment ! I LOVE YOU all for being in my life and being there for me. I know I am not the easiest person to be around but you sticking by my side proves to me that you are what I call a true friend.
