Malcom Gladwell- Blink
I love reading... Anyone who knows me can attest that I devour books !!! Especially good ones. I am currently reading Blink and am finding it very interesting. This books comes from Malcolm Gladwell, the same author who wrote The Tipping Point in 2000. Blink, focuses on "Thin Slicing" now I would get into explaining it but then I would give it all away. In a nutshell- the book discusses how spontaneous decisions can sometimes be even better than pre planned ones- when you learn how to make decisions by "thin slicing". I like this book because it touches on various sectors to drive home the point from: science, advertising, sales, medicine and music.
  • Gladwell explains that when we blink we think without thinking- that act of doing that is called "thin-slicing" which is using a bit of information to come to a conclusion.

Anywho- I cosign this book- if you haven't read The Tipping Point read it first then read Blink.
